Skydive Orange 4-way RW Skills Camp – 2-on-2 Coaching with Joost Luysterburg and Pam Young
Date: September 11 and 12, 2010, 9:00 a.m. start time

What: Joost and Pam will be providing 4-way RW coaching in a 2 Coach to 2 Participant ratio. We plan to do 4 jumps with each pair of participants.… this will include pre-jump briefs with creeping, explanation of engineering and mechanics of randoms and blocks and a full post-jump debrief. Participants will be paired based on skill level, jump numbers, and prior 4-way experience. We encourage all levels to participate, as we will be able to cover everything from basic flying skills to more advanced 4-way techniques.

Commitment: One day of the Sept. 11-12 weekend, with a $50 deposit to hold your slot. The deposit will be applied to your account at the beginning of the weekend and applied toward the cost of your jumps. Eight slots are available on a first-come basis. If you don’t show on your scheduled day, the $50 will be donated to the hangar fund.

Cost: $36 per jump + cost of video if you wish to have video of your jumps. We will make every effort to have video available for de-brief if you desire to cover the slot. ($36 covers jump slots only... Skydive Orange or the plane owners, George and Sue Ireland will pick up one organizer slot -- we are asking that you cover the other organizer slot for the load.)

Registration: Please contact Pam at or in person at the DZ or else  Email Ned and he'll foreword your email to Pam
at the DZ to register for this event (Do NOT reply to me). Please try to be flexible with availability for the weekend, so that we may pair participant skill levels, but if you are absolutely only available for one day, we will try to accommodate you. The actual commitment is only for one day of jumping (4 jumps).

(We are opening this up to SOI club members first. It will be open to all others, if slots aren't filled, a week from today. Don't wait to register- slots will fill quickly, as this is a GREAT opportunity to learn from people with a wealth of experience and knowledge.)
